Connect WhatsApp

Connect your number to the official WhatsApp API (Meta) and receive conversations in AutomLab.

Before you start

AutomLab uses the official WhatsApp Business API (Meta). You will need a phone number dedicated to customer service (not active in another WhatsApp app) and a Facebook account to link to Meta Business.

Connecting your number

1In the side menu, go to Integrations → WhatsApp.
2Click "Connect" and sign in with your Facebook account.
3Follow Meta's flow: select (or create) your business portfolio and enter the phone number.
4Confirm the verification code sent by SMS or phone call.
5When finished, the channel status shows as connected on the Integrations screen.

What happens next

All messages sent to the number start arriving in the Conversations hub, and the AI agent (if enabled) replies automatically.
